Laguna Piedra

30-45 minutesHypersaline water

This is the designated swimming area. The water has a higher salt concentration than the Dead Sea, allowing you to float effortlessly. Float on your back and avoid splashing. Stinging salt water will painfully burn your eyes and face.

The entrance complex provides ticket validation, changing rooms, and mandatory freshwater showers. You must shower immediately after exiting Laguna Piedra. This prevents a thick, drying layer of salt from crystallizing on your skin.
